The Direct-to-Employer Solution
The DTE strategy is established when the Healthcare Provider “directly” contracts with a self-funded employer down to two (2) employee lives – in most states – to provide healthcare services to members through a DTE solution using data from claims, clinicals, Rx, and financials to better target and address the healthcare needs of a population.
There are financial incentives for the Healthcare Provider that include incremental revenues that produce optimum margins through the incorporation of plan designs. This will financially incent members to use YOUR medical providers, adhere to protocols intended to address gaps in care, and to manage appropriate utilization.
