Types of Penalties
Employers face two types of penalties
“B” Penalty: The TACK HAMMER Tax Penalty.
If employers do not offer a minimum value plan at an affordable price, this penalty is assessed for any employee who goes to the Exchange and qualifies to receive a premium subsidy.
